Welcome!

Welcome!  This is the very first posting on my new website.  Here I am – a first time author – about to launch my book!

So why did I write a book?  What inspired me to do it?

Good question!

Ever since I experienced my breakdown over 20 years ago, I told myself I would write a book about it.  The years went by – and no book was forthcoming.  I was busy with my horses, and while I often thought about it, it all seemed too hard.

In 2021 I ran an animal communication weekend for our local horse group.  It was during this weekend that I knew I had to start writing, because the horses have important messages to share with the world.

But first, I needed to go back to the beginning of my story – and so my first book, There Is Nothing To Fear, was born.

It was quite an adventure revisiting this time in my life.  I had amassed about ten foolscap journals of writing during the two-year period of my therapy and only a small amount of content from the journals has made it into the book.  Revisiting the conversations with my inner life coach, parent and friend, who I named God, was so inspiring.  Once again, I was given such a solid, grounded feeling – a real boost of confidence.

I was kicking myself that I hadn’t revisited this more often over the past 20 years as remembering what was said to me in those journals has given me a new vitality.  It has given me the confidence to travel down this new path in life.

At present I am thinking about what I can offer on my website and I have many great ideas – but for now I want to examine each one of those ideas in detail.  I know that they will all contain excitement, laughter and fun.

So I am excited for you to join me as I travel my new path and consult with my inner guidance and my horses on what is the best way to move forward.

Already two more books will be written – but there is so much more.  Let me know if there is anything you would like to see.  In particular I would like to empower women like myself – who may be looking for new adventures in life!

Until next time!

Heather
